After going through such a stressful time trying to find a rental and being knocked back so many times, dealing with Bespoke was such a different experience. What really stood out to me was that Ellen actually took the time to get to know our situation rather than simply looking at our application on paper. We have a dog, and instead of this automatically being seen as a negative, she actually asked me about her — what she was like, whether she was an inside or outside dog, and took the time to understand what we would be like as tenants. That meant so much to us after feeling like we weren’t being given a chance elsewhere. Since being accepted for our home, Ellen has continued to be incredibly thorough, approachable and helpful. Any issues we’ve raised have been acknowledged and dealt with, and communication has been great. You can genuinely tell that she cares about both the properties she manages and the tenants living in them. Finding a home can be incredibly stressful, especially when you’ve had rejection after rejection, so I will always be grateful that Bespoke took the time to actually consider us as people and give us an opportunity.
